I would say a good place to start is to treat them with a 1 tbs of oxiclean in a gallon of hot water and soak overnight. Good luck!

not sure about the perspiration stains on vintage garments. But, as to odors, try putting vodka in a spray bottle. Hang the garment and lightly spray the offending area. (Check for color fastness before spraying the entire garment.) Then hang outside to dry.
