I found an awesome way to use some of my empty candle jars. With little things lying around in my Christmas craft box, I made a waterless snow globe. Got the idea from pinterest but I made mine a tad more on a simpler line. Topped it with twine and small pine cones from potpourri. I am making more of these next year! you could also do them for Valentines day. :)
Waterless snow globe made from candle jar.
Empty clean candle jar, fake snow (in bag) a small village Christmas tree and a miniature snowman ornament (string taken out)

Hot glue gun, twine and a pine cone from potpourri

Place tree and snowman in bottom of jar with hot glue (be careful and don't burn yourself)

then add desired snow. Put lid on and glue around twine and pine cone where you wish.

You can get creative with this idea and always save 'little things' that can be used for these projects. A tea light candle is a great addition also.

GREAT teacher gift idea!
