Oh no!! Ensuring that your kitchen is properly ventilated at all times will help reduce the possibility of moisture build-up and will therefore keep mould at bay.

If you do not have an exhaust fan above your cooker the steam you generate whilst cooking will create moisture on kitchen walls and surfaces. Opening a window, even during winter, will help reduce moisture. Wiping down any surface moisture as soon as possible is also important. Maintaining good circulation of air, in your kitchen, will also help minimise the chances of mould developing.

You might also want to invest in a small dehumidifier. Mold is the destroyer of all.

Are you talking about condensation on window sills? Insulate using even those plastic disposable window things for the winter. Please get a vent for your cooking needs as well.
