With smaller tiles you could tile a small table or serving tray with them.

If you have bigger tiles you could add a vinyl saying to them and display it. If you aren't able to cut your own vinyl, you could order a saying or an initial off of etsy or ebay. We made one for my inlaws with their last name initial and the year they were "established".

You can use them as a trivet- paint them first if you'd like to personalize them :)

  • I spray painted leftovers and made coasters. I used different metallic spray paints to make them a bit "manly" for my nephew and then I put peel and stick cork on the bottom to prevent them from scratching any furniture. Use painters' tape to make geometric designs, or daub a sponge over the wet paint to make texture.

My husband made trivets by framing the tiles with nice oak pieces. These were probably 6 inch tiles. The tiles with designs in them were especially nice.

I used my new leftover floor tiles to cover the inside bottom of my kitchen cabinets and pantry shelves. So easy to wipe and keep clean. No need to paint the shelves or line them anymore.

my daughter's in law used a 3 inch tile and decoupaged our granddaughter's photo(diff poses) on a set of 4 and put a felt bottom on, so no scratches and gave as a gift for the holidays.. we are still using them!!!
