Can I use Keurig capsules for anything? Or should I just toss them?

I got the mesh one you fill with your own coffee. They might take an extra minute per morning but you can custom make your coffee flavors and have what you want. You can also get the kind pre-filled that are compostable. Here is a link to each but you can now find them at Walmart, Target and most big box food store.

These sound like great solutions. I agree with Sandra Allen to get the ones that you fill yourself and reuse. And definitely add the grounds to your plants - inside or out. You can put the disposable ones on a small tray and use them to organize small beads, jewelry pieces, screws, etc. If you have too many to repurpose, recycle them. :-).

Debbie, I hear you, I also have this same problem, hate throwing them away. So I open them up & spread to dry and use them on my flowering plants, also anywhere in your flowering garden. And, I grow miniature Violets, they make perfect containers they love it! Hope this helps.

I refill mine with instant coffee, powder drink mixes, powder creamers for just the right amount for I glass or cup. I put tinfoil over the top and store them in a square plastic container with lid. Easy to use for grownups or kids.

Keurig has reusable pods so empty used coffee grounds into your garden or composter and buy great coffee (ground fine) and refill. Think environment!

I know they are very small, but perhaps they could be used for nuts or candies for children's birthday parties, etc. You could put nuts in one and M & M's or something similar in others, and group them together for each individual.
