How can I stop the sun from fading my door decor?

I would not leave it out for more than a month (or less) and maybe have a few to rotate out. There really isn't anything you can do to stop the sun from fading it.

That depends on what decorations are on the wreath.

Mostly just the typical dried flowers, ribbon, etc., you'd find on most wreaths.

You may just be out of luck. Unless you can put up some type of canopy to block the sun, the sun will hit it and eventually fade it no matter what it is. Our front door in AZ got hit by the sun and our wreaths always faded no matter what they were. Just don't spend a lot of money on your wreaths ;)
