I had laminate flooring installed but its too slippery!

I need to remove it. I Have laminate installed on my stairwell and it's very slippery. As a senior I Need to remove sheen and make more dull. How can I do this?

Even removing the sheen they still may be a hazard. Consider installing stair treads over the laminate.
