Where can I find free 5 gallon pails?

    Some restaurants buy oils and other products in pails,and will give the empty pails away free, or very cheaply.

    If you know a farmer, they'll always have extra buckets. I throw them away all the time.

    If all else fails, you can purchase 5 gallon bukets at Home Depot, Menards, and many paint stores. If needed, you can also purchase lids as well. Prices range from $3.00 to $5.00 with lids an additional couple of dollars. The nice thing is that many of these buckets don't have printing on them.

    Try Chic-Fil-A . Their 5 gallon pickle tubs are not able to be recycled, and they have been most generous in donating them.

    Try your local grocery store bakery. Icing and oil and various products come in 5 gallon buckets and they get rid of the bucketd.
