How could I paint a cabinet to look like driftwood?

I have a thermofil covered cabinet in bathroom and wood slats (painted white) that surround the mirror in my main bathroom. How can I make them both look like driftwood? I live near the beach and the rest of the bathroom is white, grey and green. Help!!

  Thanks, but not really helpful... these are wood pieces that are very beautiful but does not address the thermofil crap on the cabinet.
