Can you Iron a fabric Iron on Stencil onto a wood table?

    Yes it can be done- but you also have to seal it with clear polyurethane to protect it! A friend used a plain unfinished coffee table taped down plastic or paper doilies and stained over them! Beautiful ! His wife cleaned it one day with Formula 309 and ruined it. Always seal your work! This can even be done with cutout stencils or designs= you are only limited by your imagination! You can even use a colored paint ands create your own matching piece! Enjoy!

    I would think that a iron that had to be hot enough to iron on a stencil would harm or ruin the wood . So that would diffently bother me,so that's out
