How can I hide the many wires that hang down from the TV?

Have you checked into the cost of having an outlet installed by or behind the TV? May be less than you think for the satisfaction it would give you.

My daughter recycled a cardboard tube from gift wrap. She painted it the color of the wall and fed the wires through it. Not beautiful, but certainly a lot better than the loose wires dangling all over, and it cost her nothing at all.

We don't have a wall tv but still the wires show through the open shelves of the cabinet it sits on. I gathered the group from the left side and then the right side and for each group I inserted them into purchased lamp cord covers you can find at any home store. They are fabric that closes with Velcro and usually comes in a few colors. It looks so much better than all those wires.

i have cats that like to lick the lamp and speaker cords. i found some "cordhider" tubes..a firm plastic..open slit on one side that will snap over a cord, and it comes with elbow joints as well. worked really well in house no.2

I had the same issue! And having walls that are plaster/concrete didnt leave me a lot of options. (Zero clearance between outer wall and inner wall)

Everything is is hidden behind my TV, surge protector, cable box, and about 10 miles of wires, cables and plugs!

I have NO artistic ability, so I ordered a "tree" wall decal from Amazon ($three whole dollars)

I used a spiral cord wrap ($8) to keep my surge protector cord & coax cable together. Then attached everything behind the 55" TV. I used the wall decal as a stencil (4 yr old will peel any "sticker" she sees)

Painted the tree with Sharpie oil base marker, used black spray paint on the cords & wrap.

Here's my "hiding in plain site" cables. If you look closely, you can still see the cables.

You can buy white plastic tubing that wraps around all the wires for the length needed.
