Pallet Sign

I love free pallets. There are so many fun things you can use them for. Here I took a pallet board and made a sign for my dining room!
The pallet board before. I cut the board to size then sanded it.
Painted the board with leftover semi-gloss exterior house paint.
We cut the letters out for the sign with a silhouette machine. My wonderful husband has much more patience than I do so he transferred the letters over to my painted pallet board!
After the letters were on, I softly sanded around the saying to create a distressed look.
This saying is perfect for our family. We downsized about two years ago from 2400 square feet into an 1100 square foot home. It has been an adjustment for the four of us and our three dogs, but we love living smaller and simpler!
Suggested materials:
  • Pallet   (Free)
  • Vinyl   (Hobby Lobby)

You actually we're absolutely helpful to me. The information was actually more helpful than you realize,as you did tell me about the silhouette and why you like it and what you've heard about the comparison between silhouette and Cricut. Thank you for replying regarding my question. And by the way? You sound like me a liI' bit like me... I'm not very interested in reading instructions much either... drives my husband crazy LOL
