Upgrading kitchen counters from builder grade tile to a solid countertop in a mid-grade price so am looking for the most bang for the buck, considering maintenance, price, durability, etc. The variety of product out there is dizzying. Would welcome any and all advice.

How about composite quartz? its very budget friendly and durable. It also looks really slick! Good luck!
