Spring Mantel: Easy Decor To Welcome The New Season

Spring is in the air! I have decorated our home in hopes it will arrive sooner than later. Like all decorating in our home, I make it easy, frugal and use what I already have on hand. Our faux mantel in our living room is usually the place I start decorating when I change things up for a new season or holiday.
Let me tell you what I did.

Our DIY Hanging Map is a great backdrop for spring decor because of the muted pastel colors on it.

I started decorating the mantel by removing everything that was previously on there. It is always good to start with a blank slate. Then, I added a fun architectural piece to the left side and a vintage green bottle to the right. I put dried hydrangeas from our yard last year inside the bottle. Between those two pieces, I put some ceramic bunnies I got on clearance at Target after Easter last year. Then, I added egg topiaries I bought at a yard sale. I white-washed the pots to make them fit the mantel's look better.

In the end, I added three cupcake stands I bought in the Target Hot Spot. I made some mossy eggs to add to the cupcake stands. I will be sharing this easy craft project soon.

Some clearance wood beads from Target and a pom-pom bunny I made from a bunny-eared napkin ring and white yarn is the last addition.
This Spring Mantel came together easily and very inexpensive. Shop your home and see what you can come up with to decorate for the new season.
