Providing there are no other flowers, bushes,or trees around make a solution of white vinegar, water, salt and a dab of dish soap, or sprinkle rock salt around.Assuming you mean killing weeds
I live in the Southwest and weeds are nasty since we have received lots of rain. I now use 1 gal vinegar 1 cup salt and about 1 tablespoon dish soap in a sprayer. I do not dilute since most vinegar in stores is 5% rather than recommended 10% for weed killing in yards. I put in the salt then the vinegar and make sure it is mixing in the sprayer and then add the soap so it is not overly sudsy. Just jostle the sprayer; let sit for half hour; and then spray on the weeds. It will kill nearby flowers and plants so be careful. You will see all types of weeds start to wilt and turn yellow within 1-2 days. I actually sprayed on some crabgrass in my back grass area since it was direct and I know the bermuda hybrid grass will grow fast and thick as soon as the temps rise here in northeast Phoenix AZ area. It is so important to use natural rather than chemicals. I am a cancer survivor and I do not carry cancer markers. I truly believe that one factor; is due to the use of pesticides and my own use of Roundup for many years along with other chemicals in my household.

I use club soda. It works pretty well!
For me, I find pulling weeds part of the garden experience and somewhat meditative. I don't really use chemicals. But I'm sure that depends a lot on what you have.
I have seen people use part of a carboard box as a screen to prevent overspray and protect other plants when spraying the weeds.
I use a weed burner on a propane tank but will probably use the spray the gals posted for the weeds in my gravel drive since there aren't any plants around there to worry about.
Great suggestion for companies that use
green products. I am surprised Roundup is still on the shelves everywhere here. Do hope Canada can ban it and maybe the USA will follow.
