How to get rid of sluggs in my flower bed?

    Sink a bowl or plate at ground level. Pour in some beer in the bowl. The yeast attracts the slugs. They drink their fill and die.

    William I tried that and it didn't work even cut cans in half then filled.Could it have been sand or cans??Just thought of the cans this sec.!

    When trying to do organic gardening I tried crushed egg shells and it worked great. The shells cut there bodies but do not hurt the earthworms.

    The beer works fine depending on how many slugs you have...if there are a lot it can be like a dinner bell and draw more of them in to your garden...i used the slug away because there were hundreds of them.

    I read that a bowling ball or smaller ball covered pennies will keep slugs away.
