I really want to give my ugly Floors a new look...help

Yet another question to the experts out there. I would LOVE a brick or faux brick kitchen floor. It is currently white ceramic tile and it's UGLY. I've come across the "thin brick" but it is very expensive for as much as I need. This is a horrible question, but could I lay the brick over the existing ceramic tile?

    I've see where they paint flooring to look like brick...ck that out.

    Painting brick would definitely be an easier task. Plus they come out really realistic and beautiful looking.
