What's the best way to plant tomatoes in a bucket?

    Use a large container with drain holes. Put in soil (I buy bagged potting soil for mine). Add seeds or plants (I prefer plants) and water. Use a dish underneath to catch all of the water that overflows. Tomatoes need lots of sun and water every day once they get going. I also use Miracle Grow fertilizer for tomatoes. I have the best luck with cherry or grape tomatoes in containers - they grow like crazy on my deck! Good luck!
