I used a spayer with diazinon and malathion. You want to get to them before they hatch. If they are old, you may have to climb and use a pole to wrap and take off.
sounds like bag worms.
Webworms
BEFORE YOU DECIDE ANYTHING READ THE SITE THAT WAS GIVEN TO DETERMINE WHAT THEY ARE AS EACH PROBLEM REQUIRES DIFFERENT REMEDIES.
Can't stand it when other people give answers to the problem? You are out of control!
Sounds like tent caterpillars. We get them on our birch trees and we cut the branches we can reach and burn them. They can really spread and destroy all the leaves on the trees.
I AGREE WITH jIRWIN6 .
Bagworms As soon as they mature the bag opens and they will spread rapidly in all directions. Spray with insecticides before this happens!
Just cover a broom with a damp old t shirt, fasten w an elastic and brush them down and out, toss in the garbage. Repeat. Do it yeasterday.
