Perfect area for lilies of the valley. What other plants would go ?

Due to a tree and fence, most other plants do not do well. I need some suggestions for the rest of the area that will do well with mostly shade. Some afternoon sun.

We have a row of blue spruce that shade the sun most of the day. Along with Lily of the Valley, perennial Columbine and pinks do really well for me.
