Run a full cycle with white vinegar an a empty dishwasher.

Tried that and it helped a little. Tried with baking soda, too. Tried lemon kool-aid which was actually a bit better but still not great. I'm disabled and can't climb in to really scrub it down like I did in the past.

Try a cup of bleach and run the dishwasher at the hottest cycle you can.

The best comment is the one from William. That one will not fail. In fact, I do it on a weekly basis, my dishwasher is 17 years old and works and looks like new.

Qi live in Australia, but presume you can buy this over in the states - put a dishwasher cleaner through the machine on the hottest cycLe. In Australia, Finish makes one. Then in future leave the door slightly ajar when not in use and mould shouldn't build up again.
