Try putting sand...dry sand around the plant. They cannot slither on it. Or...buy a bottle of beer...get some jar caps and fill with beer. They seem to like the smell and they get into it and drown. You can also try peeling the cover off of regular copper wire. Make a circle around the plant with it. Their slime reacts with the coppper and it give them enough of a shock to kill them. You can Google all of this. Hope something works.

Pans of beer if you are really infested Pie plate size, dig them into the ground to ground level. They love beer (any kind) and will come and drown themselves. Also the stuff you have in your swimming pool pump, forgot the name. Cuts them and ants also.

Thank you for the tips. The slugs use my flowers as a midnight buffet! I have rock walls that I know the slugs live in. I hope one of your ideas work!

Thank you for the advice. It is very discouraging to have the slugs treat my flowers as a midnight buffet. I know the slimers live in my rock walls.

I mix 1 cup of ammonia and three cups of water in a spray bottle. Give the slugs a squirter and they die instantly. Bonus, it doesn't hurt plants. It is nitrogen so it is a fertilizer
