texas sage, honeysuckle, purple coneflower, lantana, lilac, lavender, crepe myrtles, zinnias, daisies, plumbago... many of these will also attract cute little hummingbirds and butterflies too! Also are perennial and (some) are fairly drought tolerant! Which is a bonus in CA!!

I have heard that honey produced by bees that are around a lot of oleanders can actually make you sick to your stomach (I guess in enough concentration?) I already knew oleanders are poisonous to animals and humans, but I thought it was interesting because I never considered honey... just thought I'd share! I'm not certain though so you can do some research is this is your intent (honey making)...

Wildflowers attract bees. You could make a little wildflower bed in your garden, just sprinkle them around. It is nice to see what comes up
