If you're taking about the round or square cardboard ones with a puff...I had a number of them some were just random purchases others I inherited from my grandma.
You can refinish the tops with craft paint, stickers/stamps/jewels.
I reused the random boxes for small gifts. They were perfectly sized for jewelry gifts & a couple still smelled lovely.
I even quickly rinsed one out & used it (lined with wax paper to gift fudge to an ill neighbor.
The boxes from my Grams, I kept. Her buttons are in two, and I keep earrings in one.

headband holder size? or hair doodles perhaps. I fill mine w. powder again & re-use them. If you have several the same size , you could make a tower of jewelry holders. good luck.
