You can use glue to create a "raindrops" effect on the glass- have fun with it!!
replace the glass with 'rain glass' probably your highest cost alternative ... but really nice

I've seen a vinegar spray used under a mirror spray paint to make glass look like mercury glass. I wonder if you could use the vinegar under a clear spray and then it would look like rain drops?
