My yard is inundated with moles!

Judy - yrs ago we had a cattle ranch. Moles tore up the fields & we feared seeing cattle with broken legs. My husband took a small propane tank and one of those

field burner gizmos. Stuck gismo in the mole hole and opened the propane gas tank. Propane is a heavy gas and travels downward. The moles died out and fields leveled off for about 3 years and then began coming back from the neighbor's fields. Then we had a friend who built three beautiful townhouse structures and landscaped the grounds beautifully. . .moles quickly appeared and began the process of ruining his work. My hubby told him about using propane. . .

and it worked. One would think it would be a fire hazard, but, we experienced

no such problem at any time. Good luck to you. I'm an 83 yr old widow now and can't do the moles like my husband did. I'm fighting moles and squirrels. About ready to give up on both. Good luck to you.

Get a cat. They will dig them up kill them but wo t eat them. So you will have to dispose of them yourself. Has work for us for years. Good luck

This worked for me: I put 1/4c castor oil, a squirt of dawn detergent and a gal of water in a pump sprayer...soaked the area I wanted to clear from the inside of the area out. Did it before a rain. They have acute smell and castoroil is a smell that lingers in their tunnels. They. Are gone. I did it twice...they kept coming from the neighbors.
