More than a month ago I saw a video about a man cleaning an old stained sink with a lemon and 2 other household products. Can anyone remember that video and the products and the process.?

    Should be baking soda.

Baking soda and lemon works. Tougher stains might need coarse salt and lemon. The abrasiveness of salt cuts through grease and grime without scratching most surfaces. Be sure to rinse well and dry with a clean soft cloth. I used this on a long neglected stainless steel sink and spent some elbow grease to make it shine. A very little WD40 on a clean cloth (and buff with another clean cloth). Made the sink look brand new.

not only lemon but any mild acid like vinegar works better with salt. salt it self has strong potential to remove spots and dirt.

I like this recipe for stainless steel cleaning: vinegar and baking soda to clean and some canola or baby oil to "buff" it shiny. Happy cleaning!

I just visit your site and was really quite impressed to see your query. Home products are really wonderful idea for cleaning; like acidic vinegar and baking soda are an effective solution for cleaning .Ketchup is another home product that is great for keeping copper and silver at their shiniest. Lemon juice, baking soda and white vinegar are all ingredients that are used in green cleaning as they are safe because green chemicals, unlike conventional chemicals, are not harmful for your health and environment.
