Transitioning a tiled floor with a pre-padded carpet floor

pre-padded carpet are supposed to be installed with a double-sided tape; but any suggestion on how to keep the end of these carpet secured and neat so no fibers will be sticking out of the border between the carpet and the tiled area; I wish I can show you a pic of my project
