I have a variety of flowering plants that are continually plagued by mealy bugs. I'd like to find an effective way to prevent the infestations!

Mealybugs are attracted to plants with high nitrogen levels and soft growth so you want to make sure not to over-water or over-fertilize. I'd suggest spraying them with Neem oil. It disrupts the growth and development of pest insects and has repellent and anti-feedant properties. Good luck!!
