I would like to start growing vegetable and fruit garden but my patio

get direct sunlight all day. can they survive in this much heat. has anybody heard of a tree that grows more then one fruit at a time? if so does it really work ?

    There are many vegetables out there that actually like to grow in full sun. These include tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, squash...sounds like you're going to have a yummy summer :-)

    most of the trees that grow more than 1 fruit- are grafted to a "stock" tree. its usually the same of fruit- just a different variety(s).

    You can also make a trellis to grow a climbing vegetable on, like pole beans, peas, cucumbers or malabar spinach. They will shade the area to the north of the trellis, and you can grow other plants in the partial shade.
