Glass top on wicker

Trying to make a child wicker table more functional..... want to widen table top and glass scares me with a toddler. What glue will adhere to the wicker

I haven't tried it on wicker, but there's a great glue called Glass, Metal & More that I like using when attaching glass to other materials.
I was thinking along the same lines as Kris in Australia, how about a piece of plexiglas instead of glass. Then no worries. When they get older, you can switch back to heavy tempered glass.
Use clear plastic instead, or even frosted. Any decent home improvement center should both sell and cut it to size for you.
