Ihave an old toilet and wagon I want to turn into planters.

whats the best soil to use? should I use mulch? I want both to be light weight in case I want to move the in a different location. I live in south-east Louisiana. what plants would work for a variety of color?

    Use a potting mix from miracle grow for flowers. Salvia,Dusty miller,Million bells, Lantana,Coleus for sun,Sweet potato vines,dwarf trailing zinnias,so many options.

    purchase some potting soil locally preferably one with added nutrients. You might have to drill some holes in the wagon for drainage. the plants would depend on sunshine or shade

    I just started my "Throne" flower bed over the weekend. I plant on putting in lots of trailing bedding plants. My original plan was to create a fountain in the bowl but part of the base broke when hubby moved it out of the house. Its gonna look fab by mid summer....
