One could also use summer motif stencils painted on the low walls in a unifying color scheme. Also potted palms in pots with colors, and add an umbrella to the table off to the side.

I have a Pool, surrounded by concrete. I have alot of plants and Palms around mine. Greenery adds a great deal.......it makes it look tropical. Hang some planters around with flowers for color. Learn some macrame for your plant hangers. Hang some chimes here and there. ADD some color with lounge chairs and colorful beach towels. I don't know if your pool is constantly in shade, but take that in to consideration for your plants, flowers and Palms. Good Luck, I think you WILL like my suggestions.........;))))

All these are great ideas! I would repaint the wall with a brighter welcoming color and then go online to the free aduilt coloring book sites, you can usually print them off for free. Print them in the size you want maybe 12×12. Find a nice pattern like a nice mexican motif maybe 4 different designs, repeat ever so offen, it might take 4 copies of all 4 designs and color them. And the deco podge them to the wall. It would like like wall tiles and then add flower boxes under them here and there!

You could install some lattice against the walls and use them as a base for plants, attach some window boxes at different levels with colorful vines and uprights (colios are gorgeous!) Show us some after pictures when you are done!
