Hang them up on Command hooks.

The toys are attached to thin metal or plastic rods, and there would be no place to attach loops to them. Also, I don't have any wall space and don't want them on a wall or closet door. I was thinking along the lines of a rack that could hold them individually so they would not get all tangled with one another, which is what happens if you put them together in a box. Thank you for the answer.

we have tons of toys for our cats and I got a canvas storage box from dollarama and I use that as a toy chest for the fur babies toys, its small enough to fit underneath a stool we have in the living room so it doesn't get in the way

An umbrella stand or a large metal vase.

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, all the strings on the pole get tangled that way. Believe me, I've tried.

I would also suggest an umbrella stand and to solve the tangling problem attach velcro to the pole that can be wrapped around to keep everything from tangling.

I like the velcro idea. Or what about tiny hooks to seperate? You could always paint them. It sounds like you already have something n mind...just do it! Lol. Like Nike says. Lol. Get creative. Thats why we are all here right for ideas. Good luck. Show us the end result.
