No-Sew Sweater Lampshade (and I Do Mean NO Sew!)

Let's face it. The days and weeks after all the Christmas Decor comes down can make your home feel kinda empty and barren. But, here at The Everyday Home, I like to add touches of "warmth and coziness" in unexpected places. Take for example....an average lampshade, one $5 thrift shop sweater and in fine minutes... you can create a one-of-a-kind lamp.
A beautiful cable knit sweater creates a one-of-a-kind shade for this Winter time Foyer vignette. http://wp.me/p3HNbD-W2
The beautiful texture instantly says "warm and cozy."
I didn't want to permanently attach the sweater to the shade, nor did I want to cut it down where the sweater had no other purpose... so I passed up on the hot glue and needle and thread...and opted instead for...
Yep. Tape. Good ole' clear packing tape. *Plz note, this lamp has a 40-watt bulb. Come on over to see exactly how I made it perfectly fit. http://wp.me/p3HNbD-W2

I have a sweater ready to go. I was wondering if your shade was just paper (and will it tear the shade when taking it off.) or is it lined with plastic liner?.
