Print out whatever design you want to paint on paper. Tape the paper behind he screen with your design showing through the screen. Then paint over the design and screen using an acrylic paint. Can't wait to see what you paint!!

I've seen screen that had been covered in an old lace tablecloth or piece of lace and spray painted. Very pretty if that is what you are looking for. You could also buy a stencil. There are thousands to pick from with no limit to what you could do. Again you could use spray paint as long as you mask any surrounding areas well.

Definitely use a pouncing brush if you use paint otherwise it will clog up the screen. Its a very fine mist of paint. You could make your stencil from a sheet of clear contact paper. I keep rolls of the stuff around its so handy.

Stenciling, in my opinion would be the easiest, quickest and less costliest way to go.
