Kitchen Storage Large Empty Back Wall
I have been look for a cabinet or cabinets/shelving for my kitchen. It's a large open back wall at the moment. I don't want something that looks like a china cabinet. Something more modern to put our larger appliances in like the kitchen aid mixer, food processor, blender, large baking pans, etc. ideas?

Have you thought about free standing food pantry cabinet? You can find them deep enough to for storing appliances in.

With people going to the very large TVs, beautiful TV cabinets are around everywhere. And they are usually made of solid wood so it could be painted/finished any color. Then make shelves for them. Please note my "business files" in a beautiful oriental piece. I close it up and everything looks spiffy! The other cabinet beside it had a riser built in, but with a high bed, I needed my TV higher. Hubby built me an extra shelf (that is the black on). These could be made to sit inside, then attached together. All kinds of custom work could be added to make pull outs, etc.

I would check out Ikea if you want more modern and their prices are good. Plus their bookcases can be upgraded with doors so you can hide some things.
