Hey Hometalkers!
living in suburbia doesn't leave much space or time for vegetable gardens, but each year I still try.
So this Spring I'm thinking diy garden boxes, I started my seedlings indoors and will hopefully move outdoors around Mothers Day.
I have 2 small cubbie shelves that I'm going to add legs to voila! (Well we will see) but hopefully It will deter the squirrels from stealing and my dogs from "fertilizing" my garden!
I will post pics...
share your garden solutions.....

It sounds as if you have a great start going here and I am only going to add one item to it. Grab a copy of Square Foot Gardening from your library! I have been gardening for 50 years and did I ever learn so much from this simple principle. I actually purchased it after I read it because it really works including large areas. Throw some legs on old dresser drawers, line it with line it with garden cloth and there you go a few more square feet that look attractive too. I lied, two points
