Do you have any room for a bakers rack?

Need more info. Cheap cabinets can be had at Habitat stores. Pictures would be great.

If you have a door in your kitchen that leads to a closet, or to a basement, there is a rack that you can buy to put on it.

It attaches to the back of the door, and holds canned goods, non-perishable foods, etc..

Yeah those pantry racks hold a lot.

A good spice rack frees up cabinent space.

Some of those small decorative shelves work wonders. I was able to clean out a whole half cabinent of teas on 2 small shelves, and have better access.

Adding an island if you have space gives the whole lower half for storage.

A good pot rack can also free up cabinents holding pots.

You can add a storage area next to the stove for either spices, or flat baking sheets.

    I added a pantry cubboard next to my frig, its a 18" x 18" x 8" tall.

I took the doors off the cabinent over the frig, and had better access to the extra jars I use for storage and water bottles.

I use 3 long rectangular plastic trays to organize my cleaning stuff under sink, a shelf at the back for little used stuff, and a trash can

I took out the dishwasher I never used, and built in an additional cubboard.

I've removed my dishwasher and now have a gaping hole in that area. I'm desperate for storage space .Id like to learn more about your modification. tia

When we took the dishwasher out, my contractor built a frame of 2 x 2s, put a shelf across towards the back, the doors luckily I saved from having removed them off the cubboard above the frig.... so they match. A little staining and its looks like its always been there. Oh and leftover flooring in the garage, was laid on the cubboard bottom.

The only thing I brought was the door hinges. Everything else came from my wood horde in the garage. LOL

It was my idea to use the 2x2s cause I wanted to loose as little space as possible, and I already had them in the garage.
