Make a row of annual and perennials plant based on your zone.Put a gazing ball and some small garden statues.

Lots and lots of Sunflowers of different heights. The endangered bubble bee will thank you.

Go for grasses (fountain grass, pampas grass, Karl Forester I really like) to use as a back drop, then there are many kinds of perannials you should go for so you won't have to replant every year, like lavender, Russian sage, to name a few.

Bee balm is great for sunny places and adds Lots of color as do ecchinacea
