How to Paint Glass Lamps

I have orange glass lamps. Am I able to paint them? I would like them to go white. Would appreciate, some input of any kind.. would chalk pain be an option. Thank you so much.
I just spray painted mine.
You can spray paint them or use chalk paint. - either will work. I saw at Home Depot that they now sell chalk paint in spray cans.
no, no sanding required! That's the beauty of chalk paint.
