Natural Produce Spray Cleaner

I know if you are like me you are concerned with the growing practices of our food growers. The chemicals pesticides and herbicides used are of a great concern to us all. There is no way to rid our food of these harmful chemicals but we can do our best to get rid of what we can. It is way to dangerous to ignore in the long run. Today I share a few spray mixtures that may help some.
Pesticide Cleaning Sprays


DIY Produce Spray


  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup clean cold water
  • 2 Tablespoons baking soda
  • One spray bottle
Mix well until baking soda is dissolved.  Put into spray bottle.  
Spray onto fruits and vegetables. Leave on for 10 minutes.  
Rinse the spray off with clean cold water.
DIY Produce Spray


  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • One spray bottle
Place mixture into spray bottle and shake vigorously.  
Spray the wash on your produce.  
Rub completely or use scrub brush to clean those with tougher skins.  
Rinse well with clean cold water.

    Seems that the vinegar with baking soda would work with out the lemon or not?
