Space Saving Herb Dryer

This is my herb dryer that I use in my apartment. It's temporary and easy to make which makes it perfect for our rental! My summer herbs are drying on it and when I have herbs leftover from dishes I hang them up and use them later. Love!
Save leftover herbs to dry and use all year long!
This is a simple to make project that doesn't take any special materials. A great space saver for an apartment!

Should be dried in dark...cover with paper bag

Great idea on the rack; however, herbs should not be dried in a window....too much light. Perhaps your rack would fit well in a closet. The paper bag idea is new to me....more trouble, but would contain the herb, save a possible mess, plus keep the oil in the herb.
