Our Kind of Quickie: A Weekend Bathroom Makeover

Having lived through a major bathroom reno, we know what a commitment that kind of project is. We had a bathroom desperately in need of an overhaul, but right now we just aren't up for a full-scale project.
So, we decided to work with what we've got: a vanity we don't love, tub/sink/toilet in a color we don't love, tile we don't love, and flooring we really don't love. We surrounded them with things we do: new paint, new (cohesive) fixtures, new textiles, new light, and new-to-the-room vintage art. Quick, easy, and relatively inexpensive.
And now we sorta love this room.

A full accounting of all that we disliked about our dated bathroom.
Although we'd love to have a whole new room, we decided that some things are going to have to stay for now: the vanity, the tile, the flooring (for now, at least), and the bath/tub/sink.
Although we decided to keep many things that we wouldn't have chosen, this wallpaper had to go!
As you can see, the actual changes we made were few--but it's almost like a whole new room!
This project cost us little in money, time, or energy. We're saving those for some other spaces that can't be so quickly fixed.
