Dresser turned entertainment console: Pottery Barn style!

This was such a fun transformation! I found this gorgeous (or soon will be!) dresser on our local Buy/Sell/Trade page for less than $100! I knew it was perfect for the project a friend had commissioned me to refinish.

Super solid construction and the perfect bones for a great flip!

Sean really wanted a Pottery Barn look with heavy distressing and a place to store a component or two so I removed the top drawers and built a shelf for the components (with the help of my awesome

husband!) I painted it all black with a DIY chalk paint recipe, distressed the finish and spray painted the hardware with a satin nickel spray paint.

Here it is on delivery day!

And here it is as the perfect base for his gallery wall where he can snuggle up with his adorable son to watch some great hockey! (Photo courtesy S. Abbott)
