What accessories go in a living room with a yellow and teal walls

we just painted our living room a pretty teal blue color to three of the walls and the accent wall a yellow that is too bright for my liking, to make matters worse it is adjacent to a light gray hallway, any ideas to pull the looks together and downplay the yellow wall, repainting is not an option

Accessorize with the color gray you painted the hallway. Rugs,throw pillows ,carpets, pictures
Maybe continue the yellow in some picture frames or mats with photographs down the hall wall. Or you could make a stencil and incorporate the gray onto the yellow wall. Some additional finishes for yellow wall would be to give it a gold/bronze metallic glaze, or dilute some paint and use a sponge or rag to mottle the yellow so its not so intense.

Where did you get the paint ? Some places will take it back or you a discount on a lighter shade, different color , it can't hurt to ask .
When you have different color walls like you have you need to introduce accessory pieces into the room, throw pillows, blanket, pictures, etc. that incorporate all of the colors in it. By pulling all of the colors into one piece it makes each of the wall colors look like they belong together.
My first thought was to use white accents. White frames with b/a photos, to pick up gray tones. White pillows in different textures. Or white with yellow or teal. This could be fun. A white curry pillow or collection of white vases or candle holders.
From a design perspective you should always have something black in the room. It anchors the eye. (A piece of art, a photo frame, a footstool, a lamp)
