You can use a hot iron on a smoothly-textured, lint-free cloth placed over the stain, iron very briefly (seconds), lift the cloth, and repeat until stain is gone.

I use regular plain white toothpaste. It has to be the plain white or what I call original toothpaste, not any of the new stuff and especially none with whitening propeeties. Put some toothpaste on the water mark and let it sit depending on how bad the watermark is. Then rub or buff the toothpaste off with a cloth. Repeat if you have too. This has worked to get water marks off all my mom's different wood pieces throughout the years. Hope it helps.
