Hmmm... not sure what you are looking for... but, first of all, each piece of furniture should have more than one use... a nice fold out sofa in case of guests. I painted my walls a rosy beige (I tried white and then blue but this rosy beige gave the place a nice warmth to it) I'm also big on storage baskets. In our bedroom, hubby built shelving at each end of the closet since the bedroom barely held our bed and we had no room for a dresser. He also built shelves in the laundry room so it could act as a larder. We use them a lot! I use the walls a lot too with shelving built into the tiny so called second bedroom and it became my craft room.

I think the main important thing is to get rid of anything you don't actually love but are just hanging onto. I purge about once a year and it really is such a good idea. It's surprising how much stuff a person accumulates in one year.

Keep what you love and find useful. If all around you are the things you love, you will love your home. I hope all goes well for you on this project. Take care.

I would say, don't hold back! Tiny Homes often take minimal living as a cue for their styling, which is fine if you enjoy the clean sharp look but remember gypsies and traditonal fairground travellers have been living in tiny homes for centuries and their tradition shows no such restraint

Floating shelves, pretty and functional . The hollow ottoman that doubles as a storage for blankets . Let there be nothing that does not also serve a purpose , but there's no rule that says it cannot also be asthetically pleasing .

I also live very small. I put shelves behind the couch - with a mirror in the middle for more light. So much storage, and so much design! I love it! I stained the wood a grey tone, and painted the wall behind the shelves a soft heather purple.

It has added so much depth to my small room, it actually feels bigger! And I love the quiet color - a lot of interest.
