I have some beautiful sea shells but they are COVERED in glue from a glue gun. Does anyone know of a way to remove the glue but not harm the shells. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you can soak the glue in rubbing alcohol, it will peel off the shells.

You might could use a heat gun or blow dryer or maybe even in the oven on warm a few minutes to heat up the glue so you could pull it off,... I also googled this and research says use Isopropyl Alcohol, soak for 12-24 hours and wipe off. I would try just wiping 1 before soaking, and if that doesn't work only soak 1 see if it works and doersn't damage shell before doing them all. Good luck.

Place them ih a pan of hot water and pull the glue right off let them sit for a while so the glue can soften.

Put them in the freezer- then will harden more and pop right off

I agree with trying to put them in the freezer, then pop off the glue!

Thank you everyone! I do own a hot gun so maybe that will work. But I'm going to try a few each way and see which way works best. Ty again for all your suggestions!
