My patio is to the left of the seasonal pool, the grass, shrubbery and 2 trees where recently removed and replaced with rocks . The unit across from me still has shrubbery, we are separated by a common breezeway and stairs. The rocks are okay, but curb appeal is missing, any suggestions.

I have a question isn't the condo association responsible for replacing the plantings?

I agree! The condo association should be responsible for plantings unless the rules and regulations state that you are allowed to do so. You need to read the rules and regulations on what you can and cannot do.

Depending on your geographic location, container gardens could be an option. Then you could get plants that would add color and a little privacy as well. Perhaps something with a vine that could grow up on a small trellis.

Use container pots for flowers or possibly small shrubs, depending on your location.
